The following terms and conditions apply to ALL Callington Lions Bars: -
Bar requests
Bar requests will only be considered where a minimum of 70 people
will be present at the event.
Bar requests will only be considered if Callington Lions have sufficient staff to operate the bar.
Bar requests will be only considered on a 'first-come-first-served' basis.
Bar requests are made via our on-line form
or by attachment
to an AND with a minimum of
TWO MONTHS notice
prior to the event.
You are advised to request the bar when booking the venue.
To avoid disappointment book early!
Regardless of the function, no bar will run beyond 11.00 pm.
Bar supplies
Callington Lions will be the sole supplier of bar stocks (beers, wines and spirits).
This may be negotiable for weddings where wine and/or champagne are supplied
by the families concerned.
Licence fee
The current license fee is £21 for both private functions and organisations.
The Lions Club of Callington will apply for the bar licence for the event,
but the cost MUST be reimbursed. Please make cheques payable to Callington Lions.
Individuals may apply to the Local Authority for their own licence, but this
licence must be on view at the bar on the occasion.
Bar profits
Any surplus funds from the bar will be used by Callington Lions Club for their
charities as decided by Callington Lions Club. If significant surplus is made
AND at the discretion of Callington Lions Club, the licence fee might be refunded

The UK Government's HEALTH BILL [Part 1 of Bill 69],
'includes provisions to make enclosed public places and workplaces smoke-free'

for details). Callington Lions bars will adhere to this requirement.
